Thanks, shlep1967, for the warning about Carlisle, PA. I have a cousin who moved there a couple of years ago and I haven't visited her yet. When I do, I'll just have her meet me somewhere and lead me to her house.
When we had our first cookout at our place (26 years ago), I sent everyone a map with the roads named and marked - very precise directions. Well, my brother who had lived down in this county some years before and was quite familiar with the area, was about an hour and a half late and wound up in another county. Everyone else got here with no problem. I'm still perplexed by that.
