You could use some thin one sided foam backed tape under the shelf edges.
Walmart has thin 8-1/2 x 11 foam sheets with a peal and stick adhesive backing in the arts and craft section next to sewing. The sheets come in colors. I cut a black piece up to use under various items on my desk to keep them from sliding around and scratching the surface. It is similar to the material on some stamped metal bookends. You could cut strips to put under the edges of the glass shelves.
