It was 39 this morning when I got up. Yesterday was a high of 77 though. It's just the time of year where you need AC during the day and furnace at night. (I converted my proper units to your crazy Fahrenheit units)
As for electric space heaters: pass. Drawing 1500 watts through camper AC wiring continuously seems like a bad idea already. Couple that with the risk of the unit itself being faulty (like you've seen plenty)...no thank you!
