Much, much, much more profit in a Chevy Suburban, or a full sized pickup than in a Ford Fiesta or Chevy Spark. Several years ago I remember reading an interview with one of the Big 3 top execs. He said something like "we will tell the American people what they want". Think this was around the time the Japanese cars got a strong foothold in the American market. :h
