For many years now the Federal Government has had CAFE Standards (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) that mandated Auto Makers make 'em go farther and Farther on a gallon... Well.. Our President basically tore 'em up. So the auto makers are not worrying about 'em.
Of course with Gas Prices on the rise... Perhaps auto companies should.
