It's a Ram 3500 with the 6.4 Hemi. Even though it's not a diesel, I won't ever be at 13,995# GVWR with the RV, I won't be putting 2,500# of stuff in it and I don't travel with water, so the weight will likely be in the area of 12,000#-12,500# max. That takes me right up close to the GCWR truck spec and more than 1,000# below my payload max of 3,900#. Not ideal but will get the job done for now. It's just 2-3 hour trips for weekend camping for now. No huge hills or mountains to climb where I'll be going. I've learned a lot and appreciate all the input. Of course these are all moot points because I won't be camping anytime soon. Maybe I'll get one or two weekends in when things open up this summer.
