I would start with what CT_WANDERER posted.
Open the oven and use a small piece of sandpaper and lightly sand the thermocouple. This cleans the rust off. It's the little metal tube that is in the path of the pilot light. The pilot heats the thermocouple, which tells the gas valve to open and stay open. Make sure the thermocouple is in the path (middle) of the pilot.
The other thing that might be occurring is that as the oven temp cycles and the burner relights, it's blowing out the pilot. Make sure that any kind of shroud around the pilot is positioned properly.
