If the pilot lights and holds normally (mine is hard to light) Let it burn for 2 or 3 minutes and check it again, if it's still burning your options are:
I have found it is easier to light the oven off by lighting the pilot, setting a timer for 2 minutes, then setting the temperature. Cranking up the temperature before the 2 minutes, the pilot will usualy go out.
Bad control valve (Thermostat) it contains a safety device that senses the flame of the pilot.
You may have something here...the temperature control is horid. The way I have learned to use this oven is to always crank it up to 450, no matter what. I did put a thermometer in the oven one time and tracked the temperature and it swings +/- 150 degrees. Setting the temp at 450 it averages around 325.
(Every time I make Cheesecake) but I do use it from time to time, Last was 12/17,, Took the cheesecake to the Pot Luck on the 18th (Glad I decided to do that, things happened on the 18th and I was pressed for time, Unlike so many things you can make in advance, Cheesecake MUST be made in advance, so all I had to do was take it out of the fridge and go).
mmmmm.....cheesecake!

This may not be your issue, but I found that if I pull the oven door open too fast the rush of air will blow out the pilot. Since it happens rarely could that be your problem?
Doubtful, as twice I was baking up some biscuits, got things in the oven and did not open the oven until 24 minutes were up (the normal time that has worked in the past to get them golden brown) and they were only half baked and the pilot was out.
