gas price ripoff
avoid gas stations in emporia, va. on I95 at route 58. today was $3.57. went a few miles further and found $3.19.

It is the free enterprise system at work. - not a rip off, if you willing pay, instead of moving on down the road

Yea but you gots "free medical" ;)- Wa. - 3.60- 4.25
Ca - 4.25-5.50 and going up 60 cents

NY - 4.49 - CA is not 4.25-5.50 We live in southern CA and it is only about $3.50 a gallon. Even diesel is way under $4.00 now.
- And if you had not stopped and bought fuel there it would have been much higher down the road........
Once you buy fuel........don't look at the other prices cause it doesn't matter what the other stations have 'posted'. You already filled up. - around here it is $3.89. they said on the national news several months ago that gas prices were going down. that was a big laugh/ here they raised it 25 cents within a week. diesel is $4.09. My friend in Missouri said he paid $3.13 yesterday.
