avoid gas stations in emporia, va. on I95 at route 58. today was $3.57. went a few miles further and found $3.19.

Emporia is known for its speed enforcement and it is pretty strict all along the US 58 corridor. Set the cruise on the speed limit if you do not want a ticket. It is a very popular interstate stop with hotels and even a Cracker Barrek there now. If you just want a break, there is good big rig parking at the Hardee's.
