- My brother in Pasadena just south of Houston says things are almost completely closed there. Oversupply of refined products that simply are not selling. People in the US are using much less fuel than normal.
Stories from areas with active drilling/ fracking in Texas say the industry is basically shutdown, in a care taker status now.
A lot of oilfield workers trying to get home where living in the fifth wheels is cheaper.
I bought 25 gallons of regular in Sherman Texas this past weekend for 93.9 per gallon. - Oil prices crashed this morning - below $11.00/bbl for WTI. https://www.bloomberg.com/energy
But of course Bakken oil is still making money on it, fields will start closing down. Workers will be out of jobs for the foreseeable future.

- wanderingbobExplorer IIHundred years ago or so , 1950s , gas in Florida was 23 to 29 cents but when ya crossed into Georgia there was a truck stop for 19 cents and they would hand you back three cents a gal that you would always faithfully hand in to your employer .
