I think the difference here is, those people who are truly jerks and KNOW what they are doing! I've had on many occasions been patiently waiting for the only diesel pump. But because of the trailer in tow, it just isn't real nice or convenient to cut 6 rows of pump islands off waiting to pull in. Waiting patient for the person at the pump to move on, you start moving forward when some moron zooms between you and the pump at the last second, nearly missing you and get to the pump first! OH... THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'VE JUST DONE! And this happens way too many times! Yea! I do whatever I can to annoy them. What's worse is, they pump their gas, leave their car sit there, then go inside the store for 10 minutes!
You can tell folks traveling and not from the area. They are usually just as cautious as I am. But local yokels know what they are doing!
Do I do this all the time. Absolutely not. But sometimes, it is so obvious they simply have no manners, don't want manners, don't care about manners, my engine probably annoys them, only because I am drowning out the pods in their ears.
