When someone gets gas at a combination pump they might be blocking ONE Diesel pump.
When you pull in to that same style pump to get diesel with you big old trailer you are blocking 2,3 or up to all 4 pumps.
Does that make you stupid? Unaware? Uncaring?
No it makes you a customer who is getting fuel just like the person getting gas.
I disagree completely with your characterization of the problem. The far more egregious act is sitting in your car on the phone after fueling and paying and still blocking the pump completely oblivious to all around you.
