Any new gate guard's out there? We are thinking about doing this.What exactly do you do? Would just like some current info. Thanks

All the people I know who have done it in Texas (10 couples) have given up. Saw six of those couples last week. None had plans to go back to the Eagle Ford or Permenian Basin this winter.
The threads well describe the base job. Sitting at a gate 24 hours a day 7 days a week and recording who enters and who leaves. Depending upon the activity at the wells on the property the job can vary from trying to stay awake with nothing to do. to too busy to take a bathroom break. The work is busiest when they are fracking 15-20 trucks per hour.
