I’m sure it did, but it didn’t remove oxidation.
There is no easy button here. Save for overcoating with something like ZeP, which is not a bad idea.
Just like baked on water spots. At some point, there is no point and shoot product (except for those containing muratic acid) that will remove them.
Dealing with this on our new car. Brand new with over a year sitting on the car lot. Those spots aren’t coming off without elbow grease and compound or toilet bowl cleaner which I’m not too horny to use on urethane clear coat.
The spots I’ve clear bra on, I had to hand cut and polish the spots off.
Another option for RVs or anything, especially if it’s just the front cap is vinyl wrap.
Scrape the stickers, and wrap it. Will be shiny for another 5 years or so. Material is not too expensive. Labor may be if you can’t do it yourself.
