I admit it. I spend too much time here too. Used to do the same thing on a couple of boating forums. Did alot of lurking here before getting the RV. Asked questions. Some of them dumb I'm sure but the transition from boating was painless except for things dealing with running gear. Boats don't have wheels, springs & such.
Being a boater the 'fix it yourself' mentality is strong. Much has been experienced in the past 7 years, over 120,000 miles & 1000 nights plus of RVing. All that time & experience, of things going wrong, & there is still stuff learned here on RV.net.
