Generator help PLEASE!

Might not be the answer you want to hear, but for convenience, and ease of use just bite the bullet and get another Onan. You wont have to go about jury rigging anything, and when you need the generator, it will be ready to go. Now, like others said, most every generator has a low oil shut off. And i wouldnt believe anything a camping world tech told me! Even if he said the sky was blue! Think about it, they make obscene profit by telling you that you need a new generator... Instead of just filling it with oil. Did you see the metal shavings they said was in the oil? Dont just blindly believe them. Go and get it checked at a reputable Cummins/Onan repair facility
