i own this generator, along with a Honda 2000i.
NO WAY would i subject anyone in a campground, to the loudness of this Champion model. not even myself.
but that's because i choose to be a GOOD neighbor, as opposed to some of the other responders.:R
i also only run the Honda for 2-3 hours once every few days to recharge the batteries.
i use the Honda for campgrounds and the Champion for home backup power.
now, i would have no problem with any of Champion's INVERTER generators.
like their 2000w or their 3100w inverter generators.
