Generator runs but....
Motorhome genny runs fine... the electric comes on and runs about 20 minutes then the electric turns itself off but the genny is still running... .??? What's up?

- If you will run it, and when the lights shut off go to the inverter and feel it mine was so hot you could not touch it. Had the rv GUY who had the part on his truck fixed it within 20 minutes. As the inverter heated up it would shut off power,,,i would leave off for about 20 minutes lights would come on for about 20 to 30 then do it again.. After talking to others it is not uncommon
- Mine did that at Daytona race. The inverter was bad. the lights would start flashing and the air turned off. It was a easy fix!
- Do you do anything to get electric back?... I turn it off and back on and sometimes it does it again.
Do you restart and all is good.... Good for another 15-20 minutes and off again
Do you check the breaker(s)on the generator.... I only see one switch (CB 30AMP) that has on/off. It doesn't feel solid flipping it back and forth.
What generator, brand, size, model..... Generic/3500/ - loose bad connection at the ATS ?

What generator, brand, size, model - sounds like one or both breakers ON the genny are tripping off. how are you now getting the power back on?
