Generator security at Nascar event

I think securing your genny as you outlined should be sufficient. Nearly everyone will have a generator RVing at a Nascar event this time of year anyway, few if any will have interest in lifting someone's generator. If anything they would be more inclined to covet high-end inverter type generators such as Honda and Yamaha, particularly since they have such a high resale value. Open cage/frame construction type generators, although plenty capable, are in low demand, a bear to lug around, and a bit loud for most RVing needs.
