Sorry to hear of your loss but the best defense is "OUT OF SITE OUT OF MIND". We always put ours away when it is not used. No cable, chain, etc. etc. is going to prevent these idiots from stealing.
Since installing Solar we have only used the Honda one time and that was when we had a storm pass thru and had a cloud cover all day.
I hope they catch whomever may have stole them and prosecute them so they will think twice before doing it again.
