My 2KW Generator lives in the tail gate corner of my covered and locked folding bed cover truck bed...
When we need to use it and it is allowed we just pull it out onto the dropped tail gate. This is the only time it is visible...
Being secured in the truck bed my generator goes where we go.
So far so good since 2008...
