Wow, I am so sorry!
I have mine locked with a fat chain, even when in use. When not in use I cover it with a garbage bag and an ugly box I got out of the trash. I think it often helps to disguise valuable items as junk piles.
Also, my genny is not as expensive as yours. That is a big $$ hit!
