A higher than normal quality chain with hardened links 1/4" TO 5/16" thick. Of course chain like this is pricy and heavy to carry around and handle when locking something up with it. Then the generator is vulnerable to having the carry handle cut away. As far as where the person is parked who was victimized is irrelevant since the thieves are people and people are everywhere. Camps in the boonies are no longer safe like they were in years past.
