not in the picture is a cable and lock, that goes thru frame members inside the compartment
at night or when away, just unplug, slide in and lock the compartment
i bought the slides from a wood working a cabinet place, online and mail order, rated for 500 pounds
slides and mounting brackets all steel about $127 total, plywod and screws local
the 2*4 wood strips underthe mounting brackets, hold the slide up for clearing the compartment lip
And are bolted thru the compartment floor with 5/16 carriage bolts, large fender washers and double nutted and blue thread locktite, just to keep them from vibrating loose from road vibration
