Getting expensive

I also do not think RV campground prices have gone up faster than other costs. We mainly stay at private campgrounds with full hookups and pay between $25 and $50 per night. We had to take a trip recently without the RV and I was really surprised how high the hotel prices have gotten. It is not easy to find a hotel at less than $60 per night and most were much higher than that, especially when you add the $10 to $15 per night they tack on when you have a dog. Also, when traveling without the RV we are eating out all the time which has gotten expensive (and it is not very healthy).
