After researching the forums, it seems like the majority of people seem to like Maxxis tires (for ST tires). Did some research and there are no local tire or trailer places around that are Maxxis dealers in my area. I called a local trailer place and even though that don't carry Maxxis tires, they said they could get them. Brought the TT in this past weekend to get them installed. Replacing 4 year old Tow Max tires. I have not had any issues with them but it seems like many people have issues with this brand. Figured 4 years were old enough. Peace of mind having new tires anyway...

Good call. Did you have them balanced. I recommend you do.

You made a good choice IMO. I have had nothing but good service from Maxxis ST tires. Do get the tires balanced BTW.

I'm having Maxxis tires put on our Minnie. They're ordere and should be installed sometime this week. A little voice in my head said to replace the cheap Chineese tires that came with the trailer....they're only a year old, but I've got a couple of long trips planned and didn't want to take a chance when I'm looking at traveleing over 4,000 miles before July! I had a set of Maxxis on our Sunline and they were great tires!

Yeah, it's going to be wet tomorrow and Friday but looks to be nice on Saturday and Sunday.

I hope they have the forecast wrong or you are going to have a very windy & wet trip. Even so, I'm jealous! If you are into hiking and the weather permits, drive over to Yellowood State forest and take the Scarce O Fat trail. Very nice hike.

I looked into getting LRE Maxxis in 225/75R15 but ran into an issue with the rim rating only being 65 psi, so it didn't seem worth it. I hear plenty of good things about them thou.

Do most of you get the road hazard replacement certificates? They are $15 a tire and they talked me into it, but I'm not sure if I should get my money back before I get the tires on in two days.
