I am changing out the tires on my new 2015 Open Range.I Was going to go to Maxxis 235/85/R16 but then looked at the Carlisle RH tires. I cannot find any negative feedback on their newer design tires since 2012 . 3 years is not a long period for problems to show up but I would think there would be "some" negative comments by now if there was a problem.
One feature of note is The Maxxis are a 9/32nd tread depth. The Carlisles are 13/32nds tread depth. Almost 50% deeper tread. The Carlisles have a couple of hundred more Reserve capacity per tire than the Maxxis as well.
Any comments by Carlisle users ?
The Carlisle's are readily available but most shops have to order the Maxxis. I had Maxxis on my last trailer.
