The jury will be out for a long, loooooong time before Carlisle
can undo the bad karma they have had for years!
Guess it's good to be a test bed for their supposedly improved tires.

OP - Maxxis are a good choice, although you could have used the opportunity to switch to 15".
BTW - "Chinese" tires:
Maxxis (Cheng Shin Rubber Co.) tires are a Taiwan (Republic of China "ROC") based company, with mfg facilities in:
Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and....two in Mainland China -
(the People's Republic of China - "PRC").
