getting old

I am here to tell you that getting old is not for sissies. I am not called the old guy for nothing. we are having more health issues every day it seems. I think one of the best reasons to get old is my grand children. I so love to play and hold them. they come up with the darndest things to do and say. some times I wonder how I survived my youth. I watch every move they make to protect them. I remember as a kid we went out to play when it got light and was home when it got dark. we had chores to do in the morning and at night and they had to be done. so are my thoughts for this day.
