Getting Portable Waste Tank to dump station

What size blue tank, ie, how many gallons? 2 wheel or 4 wheel? Makes a big difference. I have a 32 gal Barker 2 wheeler and you can't pull that with a bicycle when full.

How did it work? Was it difficult to pedal? How big of a tank did you have?

I believe my tank is a 25 gallon tank. When towing it by bike, I keep it to about a half a tank. No problem pedaling, but I wouldn't want to do it for any lengthy incline.

After posting here last night, I looked at the new Thetford tanks that can be towed like a wagon...much better design. I think I'll definitely get one sometime before next year's camping season.

I thought about pulling by hand. But it would need to be only about half full. It would also depend on how far away it is. Would be a daily chore for sure then if dumping at half way point.

Didn't know if there some contraption out there that I haven't heard of. We have a big 4 wheel tote (35 gallon). When we bought it, we had a truck to pull it with. Lol. But we won't always have a car with us in the motorhome. Our gray tank is only 32 gallons. Whereas in the TT I think it was 64 gallons. Yet, we have gotten a lot better at conserving. We can still go the weekend (3 of us) before its time to dump. Before, I don't think we did that with the TT but maybe once towards the end of having it. So we've learned to cut our consumption in half and there's still room for improvement.

I could always sell our current tote and get one half the size which would make it easier to pull and easier to carry.

Where do you folks put all the extra stuff you haul around. I have basements, but... Would need to tow my utility trailer behind my toad just to haul around some of the stuff you haul around. Guess I'll just keep unhooking to go dump once a week.

Golf cart with a sway control mini ball drilled through and bolted through the middle of the rear passenger floorboard. Works great!
