Having just two links on the weight distribution bar chain doesn't sound like much. Tires at 35 pounds in 50 pound rated tires is not much. Being sure that the trailer has more weight in the front than the back is not very comforting without knowing the actual numbers. Having one sway bar when experiencing wiggle is not too good.

I would find out the actual tongue weight to assure it is at least in the 10% to 15% necessary range. Then make sure the weight-transfer bars are set up for the proper values. Then pressure up the tires to sidewall limits. Then invest another $75 to add a second sway bar.

These things may help.

The advise to tow with max. air is sound.
Solution 1.
More air equals stiffer sidewalls. (Better Towing)
Less air equals sidewalls wallowing around. (Dangerous Towing)

Solution 2.
Go to a LT tire. (Best towing)
I like E rated tires. They are tough, and have strong sidewalls.
Solution 2. eliminates waggle, and wallow in curves. (Safer)

Had the same issue with our '10 Chevy CCSB 4x4. Stepped up to a set of LT C range tires (Cooper A/T3 275/65/18, stock was 265/65/18) and never had another "wiggle" as I call it!

You cannot determine your personal WD set up by just so many links. You need to get the loaded trailer to a level place and do a complete hitch set up. The one done at the dealer was with no load in the trailer.

Get the instructions on your hitch system, some tools and learn how to set the hitch system.

First, I would forget about the nitrogen hang up and just add some air. I would then experiment with one more and one less link on the WD. My set up is level but is sensitive to which link I use even though the measurements are very similar at the different links.

Thanks for all the input. I will certainly try some of the suggestions here. Best one is to put good tires on!

Bite the bullet and put some decent LT tires on it. Then air them up. Dealers should be ashamed of delivering even 1/2 ton trucks with passenger car tires on them.

If you have the Goodyear Wranglers I'm pretty sure that the max pressure is 44psi. That's what I run when I'm towing and sometimes you can feel a little bit of a waggle but it's much better than running them at 35psi. I think I'll get some E rated tires when I replace the OEM's.

Just add air on top of the nitrogen,air is already 78% nitrogen anyway, mixing will not make an iota of difference!

We are pulling out in the morning. I will measure the the front as advised and correct it as needed. The tires are a different problem because they are nitrogen filled. I can't just add air, or maybe I should just dump the nitrogen and repalce it with air to 50psi.
