Hey guys, after all of my threads my wife and I finally decided on a Primetime Lacrosse. We pick it up Saturday. I have an WDH coming in today but I doubt I will be able to get it assembled by Saturday. Will I be ok to tow the trailer 50 miles (non-highway, no more than 45-50mph)
I really don't feel like trying to set everything up in the dealer parking lot. Below are the specs on my equipment.
TV
2012 F250 Diesel
17k/1.75k Class Hitch
Multiball
TT
35'
8000#'s
900# TW
I know this is not ideal but can it be done? I am pretty stressed trying to get everything lined out before Saturday. I don't want to be sweating the hitch when I need to be concentrating on the PDI.
There is a strong possibility that the dealer will require you to have the hitch installed to tow the trailer off their lot.
I believe this has to do with their liability insurance.
