They are really only a solution for folks who use the rv like a home. As you noted they need constant steady pressure and 5-10 seconds to get the hot water pumping through the lines. You can not use the cheap restrictor type pressure reducers. Instead you need to plumb in a household style pressure valve. Again they are amazing for folks like us that stay with full hookups.
