THe concern was for employees and interns, not visitors. Read to the end of the article.
I'm not too concerned for them, though. I was exposed to a lot of radiation on a daily basis for two months running. The cancer tumor that was growing rapidly is now dead meat. Sure, there was some residual damage to nearby organs, but I'm alive and kicking six years later, and the only "medication" I take for it now is Metamucil.
