I say cheap also and still buy the best quality I can get for a reasonable price.
but that word 'cheap' does hold different power for different people :)
it depends where people put their value. some want a 'cheap' reasonable priced good weight distribution system and another might value that more and put on a higher priced name brand they desire.
doesn't matter tho really in the long run....people buy what they want, value things differently and use the word 'cheap' when they mean reasonable priced for decent quality to do the job on the item they are purchasing.
I bought 'cheap' tape the other day to save a few cents. heck the stuff won't stick on anything LOL. see, I cheaped out and now have to go back and buy good name brand tape that has some sticky on it :) :) :) lesson learned on tape for me HA
