Seeing as the OP has a cheap run of the mill TT he has no idea what quality is.
I really don't believe that but it would be very easy for a Provost guy to look down his nose at you and declare the OP's entire rig cheap and below standards.
Why would anyone want to camp in a cheap low ceiling TT?
Your rant takes us down a slippery slope of judgement. Who are we to judge another persons finances or needs. Rather than pass judgement celebrate that they are enjoying the RV lifestyle in their own way.
Trying to determine a persons sense of value and worth based on their weight distribution hitch is silly. If you think staying at Wal Mart is all about saving money you don't understand what Wally Docking is all about, But than again you have a basic TT so you really don't understand what its like to be fully self contained... oops there that judgement thing again.
Dutchman I've read and enjoyed lots of your post but this is one of those topics where you have to say "Nothing good will come of this".
I know you clarified this post a rant. Ranting often maker the ranter feel better but if it comes at the expense of ruffling the feathers of others it's probably not a good idea.
Your post comes off as snobbish and condescending, I really don't see you in that light however I cannot defend the overall tone or basis for your comments.
Cheap is an option. I can enjoy a steak dinner at Ruth Chris but I can also boil a pack of hot dogs if I'm hungry.
Us humans are complexed personalities don't judge us to harshly based on our financial decisions, There is no one size fits all answer and you can't judge an RV because its parked at Wal Mart.
Everyone driving a large diesel pusher is not filthy rich and everyone with a Eze-Lift hitch is not a cheapskate
