But, I will still say, it's the use of that word "cheap". And here's the best example I can provide.
In one post, the rant will be about "cheap China bomb tires". And in the next post, it will be about "cheap weight distribution systems."
If your definition of "cheap" simply means "economical", then ... well.... "Devils advocate here".... what's wrong with "inexpensive China Bomb tires."
NOW ... maybe you know why I have problems with the word "cheap!"
I totally understand being "economical", and looking for the best deal for your money... completely ... but "cheap?" Well ... Think about those China tire threads and you begin to see why I cringe every time I hear the word, "cheap" in reference to any other item we RVers use.
Merriam Webster Definition of "cheap"
1a purchasable below the going price or the real value
1b charging or obtainable at a low price
1c depreciated in value (as by currency inflation)
2 gained or done with little effort
3a of inferior quality or worth : tawdry, sleazy
3b contemptible because of lack of any fine, lofty, or redeeming qualities
3c stingy
4 obtainable at a low rate of interest
Use of either definitions 1 or 3 are perfectly acceptable. You clearly interpret cheap to be inferior. Others interpret it to be economical or low priced. Given that Webster lists economical as the first defintion, it is the one most commonly used.
Regardless of the definition, how anyone spends their money is solely their business.
