When I boondock (with an 'n') including USFS CGs with no hookups and Senior pass discounts, I often see folks who appear that's all they can afford. So seeing a nice rig in with those folks can give the appearance of being cheap. That's all I meant.
I can't find the post who said it, but I like the philosophy "I can't afford cheap". In the long run, cheap means shoddy, and shoddy doesn't last. Not ALWAYS, but it's a reasonably good bet that a cheaper product is less quality on the inside. There's a reason things are cheaper, and it's not because it's a conspiracy.
