I have a lot more respect for those who make do with "cheap" stuff than I do for those who run up massive credit card bills and loans to get the lifestyle they deludedly think they deserve.
Yeah, I pull my 11 year old popup with a minivan, even though I daresay my net worth is higher than many here with pricier rigs. Don't like it? Buzz off.
And, for the record, our kind of RVing costs rather less than comparable vacations would. I hate to think how much it would cost me to fly the family to Calgary, rent a car, drive down to Glacier and spend big bucks at one of the hotels there. And it wouldn't have been as fun a trip either.
