Going Home

Question

Just said goodby to a friend and his wife as they are returning to Missouri in the morning not to return after 28 years of wintering in Rockport. He is a great fisherman and never took a red or trout that was undersize. We will miss him.

Sorry to hear that. We've been coming to Rockport since 2004, love it here. We are also saying goodbye in the morning to our fishing friends but thankfully they will be back again next year God willing.

Evidently there is a lot of "going home" going on. We left Tampa this morning traveling north on I-75 and the RV traffic was amazing. We were at Bay Bayou RV resort for a few days while we visited family in the area. Every morning there was a going away "to-do" as folks that had been there all winter pulled out. No fuss about us leaving. lizzie
