We were on one of the boardwalks and at the end was a bison. The boardwalk made a turn there and there was a patch of aspen in the middle of the circular boardwalk. A foreigner tried to do a bull fight routine with the bison and the bison started chasing him around this circle. The guy was just laughing until the bison finally followed the straight part of the boardwalk to get out of there. The bison ran by everyone, including us, on his way out. He could have easily pushed all of us over the side into the hot thermal pools. Everyone starting yelling at the tourist but he and his friends continued to laugh.
How can folks be so dense?
By the way, there are bison falling in the hot areas in winter.
It's a shame the park rangers are paid so little. They have a tremendous job keeping idiots safe.
