Good idea to contact Credit Card company before traveling

I carry two cards and yes, One of them has done that to me a few times. I call them We exchange passwords and other identifiers and it only takes 'em a few minutes to fix it.

I actually like that they do that.

Got a call from the Fraud watch folks for my credit union the other day.

SOmeone tried to use my debit card to buy over 500 dollars worth of stuff from overseas... (Transaction denied as I did not have the funds on hand,, I never do, I run near zero balance checking,, That is why).
