Good place to Fuel in/around Rapid City SD

Looking for recommendations on a good RV friendly place to fuel around the Rapid City area. Coming out soon with our rig for the first time. Not first time to area but first time with the TT. I generally avoid truck stops due to the volume of traffic. I will be going through Rapid on my way to Keystone so if there is something better and can save a few pennies per gallon I would go a bit further. Or I will be coming from Sioux Falls on I90 so if there is a good one before I get to Rapid that would be good info as well.

Thanks!

Big D station on the corner of St Patrick & Cambell is easy and always 20 cents cheaper than at the interstate. Best fuel price in Rapid.
From westbound I -90 @ exit 61, turn left on Elk Valley Rd. ( 16 bypass) to St. Pat, then west to Cambell. Then south on Cambell back to the 16 bypass. Won't take you out of your way but a minute.

Thank You! Been out there many times but never had cause to pay attention to places for diesel or that would accommodate my rig.

  • Don't think I've ever been to a gas station that was NOT RV friendly and this is especially true in tourist areas like the Black Hills. Rapid City is a large city and there are hundreds of gas stations and they'd ALL love to get your business.
    Good luck / Skip
  • There's a Flying J at Exit 61 - no RV lanes, but the regular ones are pretty open. There's also a Sam's Club a bit from the next exit west. Prices are about the same for diesel; mSam's Club a lot cheaper for gas.
