To the OP, I've had a couple sets of Kenda Karriers with good luck. Mid priced, high speed rated. One set has been sitting in the weather for the last 4+ years with no sign of cracking or degradation.

Maybe because ST tires are historically junk that degrade too quickly, and have a tendency to explode on the highway causing thousands of dollars of damage to the trailer on a regular basis?

Take a look the next time you are a campground. It is a common occurrence to see trailers with damage around the wheel wells from tread separation.

    Hardly a problem that doesn't exist.......:R

With a 15" rim, I would switch to LT.

If you are stuck on an ST tire, I think Endurance is the best.

I don't think you will find that size in an LT.

Quick search found this one. Would need to check the load rating.
    Wrangler

If you played with the tire size a bit you would have more options.

The OP already has literally dozens of 15" trailer tires to choose from.
LTs in 14-15" are virtually non existent and not the right application for 14-15" trailer rims. The one you posted has like 1800lbs capacity. You can do far better with ST tires.

  • GY ENDURANCE has a stellar record, US Made at a fair price!!! Tow at 70-75 no problem if that's your thing.

  • Provider....Carlisle HD....Endurance....All new style, better built, run cooler, and high speed rated.

  • Maxxis, Goodyear endurance and the newer Carlisle radial trail are supposed to be the best. I have Maxxis on the TT and Carlisle on a cargo trailer. Over 2 years on each with no problems. My Maxxis will time out this year at 5 years since manufacture. They were dated almost 3 years old when bought new. Maxxis said if you buy from them directly the tires SHOULD be 2 years old or less. I'm changing mine. Not worth having a blowout on the road.
