Flashlights. When it's dark in Alaska for half the year, I don't like being without lots of good bright flashlights. There's always one within a few feet of me.
Somehow I think my collecting of flashlights and generators go together.
And yes, the generators do go up and down the street when there's a power outage.
One good thing here in Alaska, the gas is refined in-state so we don't have any ethanol or other *rap put in it. My first Honda 2000 came from by brother and hadn't run in five years. It was still full of fuel. Three pulls and it started right up.
