I heat with Anthracite coal and Obama's war on coal is affecting that also. He sends the mine inspector thugs to issue silly citations and fines which drive the independent miners around here out of business. Hence shortages make it pretty hard to get when the weather turns brutal cold.
I also had a buddy who worked the fracking wells above Williamsport where they found so much gas that the price really came down. The owners of the wells reacted by shutting down enough of the wells to drive the price backup.
Consumer gets screwed every time.
