It's really odd for a thief to pick a target with dogs. They usually avoid them like the plague. Sounds like these guys knew you and the dogs.
Perhaps some one who knows you AND the dogs to be able to get in without being bit and a whole lot of barking while ominous strangers ransacked your MH? Maybe someone you befriended at the last CG and mentioned you were going to CB when you left?
Not easy to think about but it does happen.
