Double ditto. Learning curves are rough sometimes. I'm glad your dogs weren't let out of the rv as some thieves will do to avoid getting bitten.
A motion sensor connected to a very loud alarm is a good idea. I still want one that has a siren AND a voice that shouts "Stand still, you'll make a better target!":B
When on the road, wife puts her spare jewelry in the bank safety deposit box at home and never takes her wedding ring off. It's too much bother in the rv.
Our expensive electronics: we modified a place in the rig with a secure lock and put our gadgets in there when on the road and/or away from the camper. Not going to tell you where it is on this public forum. But you can find one on your rig and remember: don't mention where it is to anyone in public or on a forum. Any sturdy lock will slow a thief down and thieves want to be in and out in a hurry.
