Got to be a better way, Having RV'ed for nearly forty years, I've never been totally satisfied with the propane tank procedure. As I get older, those darn tanks seem to get heavier and heavier. The lock down system (wing nuts on all thread) is just not efficient. Has somebody come up with a better solution for filling propane tanks on towables?
I never took my tanks off any of my TT's, Once I found out that 99% of the CG's I stayed at had a propane tank right on the grounds. Pull up and they fill your tanks for you. TT or MH. CG websites will list if they have propane or not.
Even if you are not staying at that CG you can pull in any CG that says they have propane and just buy the propane from them and leave. They are 'always' easy in easy out for RV's and you don't have to take the tanks off.
